Greater Van Nuys Rotary Club partnered with Together We Rise (a Non-Profit Organization), last Saturday, to prepare duffle bags, filled with goodies, to be given to Foster Care Children. Goodies included Bicycles of different sizes , teddy bears, blankets, personal care pack and many more. The event took place at the Salvation Army complex in San Fernando Valley, Los Angeles, CA.
Other Rotary clubs also participated at the event. Present were; Rotary Club of Granada Hills, Rotary Club of Woodland Hills, Rotary Club of Calabasas, Rotary Club of Glendale, Glendale Sunrise and other Clubs in our District. Rotarians came along with their children and grand children, to help fill the goody bags. It was such a fun day for everyone present. Also present at the event, were Past District Governors, District Governor Elect, Rotarian Makiko and District Reps.
