Mid SFV ROTARY Community Garden

 

I was only able to make it to the garden, but heard we had Rich (kudos for organizing this contingent!), Marc, Jack, Robin, Yakob, and Shindi, plus our GSE guest Colin, at the Birmingham H.S. track.  Ever willing to serve, we then also got Rich, Marc, Robin, Shindi and Colin at the garden, plus 4 or 5 Rotarians from other clubs; 4 or 5 people from the local community; Martha; Debbie & her husband, Luis; Emilio; Corliss; Frank; Barbara and me.  It was fantastic!  Unfortunately the wind was too strong to spray the fence with sealer, but we managed to clear the perimeter of weeds that the rototiller can't reach, prune the trees, dig out some old asphalt and put up some Rotary signs, including the large wood "real estate" type sign Emilio brought from storage.  Both events were a resounding success.
