Mid SFV Rotary Loses a Long Time Member

Betty Jo Moore, a longtime club member of the Mid SFV Rotary club, passed away Tuesday at the age of 89. Betty Jo may have been retired, but her calendar was full. She was the president of the Greater San Fernando Valley Chapter of Business and Professional Women, which has fought for women's rights in the workplace since 1919, and a longtime member of the United Nations Association, dedicated to building understanding of and support for the ideals and work of the UN among the American people. Betty Jo will be missed for her relentless sense of humor, her beautiful smile and her determination to make a difference in the world.
